Day 1: Plan Needs Some Changes After Today’s Attempt
I sat for an hour.
With 4 big tech OA questions from the previous year.
Couldn’t completely solve any, but realized a few things.
In most of them, my approach headed right [headed right didn’t conclude right]. And was speaking out loud all that while, which was another headache (throat ache actually).
But, the thing is that it was all my raw thinking; things are not really instilled in my muscle memory.
Which is why I am slow.
Also, after this attempt, I think one attempt per day is already a lot.
Because I need to upsolve these too.
Honestly, I felt like quitting after 15 minutes, but I held myself through it.
Hopefully, perform better tomorrow.
I’ll list the questions with their solutions below, too.
And my attempt too, so that if you are just starting out and seeing this after, let’s say a month or 6, then you don’t feel inferior.
We are all at the same point, beginners.
And about SQL and Aptitude.
I’ll be honest, I don’t want to, but they are important, so I’ll do that for 15 minutes each and update the questions here.

I sat down to understand the solutions to the problems.
I spent almost 90 mins on the first one, and I still don’t get it.
I think, given my current level, I have chosen a really hard set of problems.
I’ll stick to Cisco and Stripe for a while.
As both are pretty long and not CP-heavy. I guess Microsoft and Amazon also fall in that category.
